Liverpool Appoints Jurgen Klopp As their New boss !

 

The German signed his contract, which Press Association Sport understands is a three-year deal, in a city centre hotel after flying into Liverpool John Lennon airport on Thursday evening.

In a short statement on Twitter the club said: Liverpool Football Club are delighted to announce Jurgen Klopp has been appointed as the clubs new manager.
In preparation for that the club began a clear-out of many of predecessor Rodgers backroom staff earlier in the day, with assistant manager Sean ODriscoll and first team coach Gary Mc Allister - who were only brought in over the summer in an overhaul of coaching personnel - removed from their posts.

The club would like to place on record its thanks to all four men for the professionalism, commitment and dedication they have displayed during their time here, and the positive impact they have had in helping to support football operations and the team, said a club statement.
Former Liverpool manager and now England boss Roy Hodgson offered Klopp his best wishes in his new job.
