Real Madrid break the record for number of group stage games unbeaten

The win against PSG not only saw Real Madrid mathematically seal their place to the Champions League round of 16.

It also allowed them to break the all-time record for successive group stage games undefeated. Following the 1-0 victory over the French side, the Whites have now strung together 19 matches without losing, one more than Barcelona's run between 2009 and 2012. 

Real Madrid's last slip up in the group stage happened all the way back during the 2012/13 campaign in Dortmund. Since then, they have clocked up 15 wins and 4 draws. Teams of Juventus, Manchester City, Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain's standing have all failed to beat Madrid over the course of this historical undefeated streak.
