The Belgian midfielder has attracted interest from top clubs in Europe with his superb form since his arrival at the London club.
However, the Spanish giants may be force to pull the string having completing the two world most expensive transfers for Gareth bale and Christiano Ronaldo , and the duo costing in excess of £80m when they were signed from Premier League clubs Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur.
However, the 24-year-old is still considered one of the brightest attacking prospects in the game, and given he signed a new five-year contract earlier this year, Chelsea are in a strong position in the likely negotiations.
One thing that may count against them though is the will of the player, as Hazard is said to be aware of Real's interest in him and he's keen to follow it up, too. Sources close to the player insist Hazard would make his intention clear to join Madrid should they formalise their interest.
