The home-based Super Eagles will depart Nigeria on Friday ahead of Sunday’s return leg match in the final round of qualifiers for the 2016 Championship of African Nations.
Toyin Ibitoye, Super Eagles Media Officer, told the News Agency of Nigeria that the team would depart Port Harcourt, Rivers State for Ouagadougou on Friday evening aboard a chartered Arik flight.
Ibitoye said: “We are leaving by 6.30pm on Friday.
“The flight is two hours and we will be back immediately after the game on Sunday.”
NAN reports that the Eagles take a 2-0 lead into the game, after last Saturday’s first leg clash in port Harcourt.
Ibitoye said the team was in high spirits with no injury worries.
He said: “There are no injury worries.
“The only player out of the team is Solomon Kwambe, who has been replaced by Etim Matthew of Rangers International FC, following his injury in the first leg encounter.”
