Sir Alex Ferguson to make managerial return at Manchester United

 

Are we going to see the legend return to the touchline once again or its just a mere rumor? The former Manchester United boss will be taking to the touchline for the first time since he left the theatre of dreams in 2013.And he'll be in charge of a Great Britain and Ireland XI pitted against old foe Carlo Ancelotti, who's heading up the World XI.

Ferguson will also be reunited with class of 92 great David Beckham who will be captaining the side for the game in November.
The pair famously had an acrimonious split in 2003 after the Scot accidentally kicked a boot that hit the former Real Madrid star in the head.

However, the pair are on good terms now, and after Beckham put out feelers to make the UNICEF charity match happen, Ferguson accepted the offer.
And the former England captain will not be the only star on show, with Zinedine Zidane expected to feature for the World XI, with the rest of the squads to be announced later this month.

 

Legendary referee Pierluigi Collina will officiate the game, which has been called 'The Match for Children'.
It will take place on November 14 at Old Trafford. Tickets are now available on the Manchester United website and are priced from £20 for adults and £10 for children.
