PROBABLE Starting XIs Stoke City vs Chelsea

Another loss for Chelsea at the weekend mounts yet more pressure on Jose Mourinho, who is himself set to face

more disciplinary action from the FA after being sent to the stands against West Ham.
The question remains, can the special one beat Stoke on a cold, rainy Tuesday night, or will he leave another
Premier League ground with the blues?
The Potters have beaten the Blues once since their return to the top flight and if they are to return to
the fourth round again this year, they will have to play better than they did against Watford, who ended their
four match winning streak last weekend.
The welcome return of Ryan Shawcross to the Brittania will be a boost for Mark Hughes who said “he is captain
of the club and has a huge influence on and off the field.”
Striker Mame Biran Diouf is poised to return after compassionate leave, but Bojan and Mark Muniesa are
doubts with foot and thigh injuries respectively. Meanwhile, Geoff Cameron is not expected back until
Halloween with a thigh injury.
Predicted line-ups

Chelsea 4-2-3-1
