Diego Costa of Chelsea says suspension was 'undeserved'

Chelsea forward Diego Costa says his recent three-match suspension for violent conduct was undeserved and that he is on the end of plenty of rough treatment himself.

Costa implied that some of his fellow Premier League players are prone to making a meal of any physical contact.The 27-year-old told The Sun: "Many times players have done stuff to me, like kick me. But I am not a cry baby.

"I have done nothing wrong. Some things you just cannot change. You cannot do anything about it. As a player, you have to accept them whether you think it is fair or not.''

I have 100 per cent support from my manager, the club and the Chelsea supporters. So other people, other opinions, I don't care, I'm not really bothered.

"I will not change unless my manager or the people from my club or my supporters tell me."

Costa was handed his three-match ban after video footage was examined of his clash with Arsenal defender Laurent Koscielny, but said: "I have done nothing wrong. Some things you just cannot change. You cannot do anything about it.
